On the 17th, the Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that the entire country will be mostly clear with strong winds, resulting in lower perceived temperatures. Jeju Island is expected to experience rain or snow in some areas until 3 a.m. tomorrow. The expected snowfall is around 1 cm, and the expected precipitation is around 1 mm.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to range from -16 to -3 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs from -2 to 6 degrees Celsius. Northern Gyeonggi and inland/mountain areas of Gangwon will see temperatures below -15 degrees, while other central regions, eastern Jeonbuk, and inland Gyeongbuk will be below -10 degrees. Morning low temperatures by region are △Seoul -10°C △Chuncheon -14°C △Gangneung -8°C △Daejeon -9°C △Cheongju -8°C △Daegu -7°C △Gwangju -5°C △Jeonju -7°C △Busan -5°C △Jeju 3°C △Ulleungdo and Dokdo -3°C.
Fine dust levels are expected to be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all regions.
