[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] SK Ecoplant announced on the 16th that it has won the housing reconstruction and maintenance projects for ‘Hyoseong-dong New Seoul Apartment’ and ‘Sungui-dong Hyundai Apartment’ in Incheon.
The two projects combined total 960 households, with a total contract amount of approximately 212.2 billion KRW. The New Seoul Apartment reconstruction project is located in Hyoseong-dong, Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, and involves constructing apartments and ancillary welfare facilities consisting of 6 buildings ranging from 3 basement floors to 26 above-ground floors, totaling 601 households. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2025, with move-in expected in 2028. The total contract amount is 120.1 billion KRW.
The Hyundai Apartment reconstruction project is located in Sungui-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, and involves building apartments and ancillary welfare facilities consisting of 3 buildings ranging from 3 basement floors to 35 above-ground floors, totaling 359 households. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2024, with move-in expected in 2027. The total contract amount is 92.1 billion KRW.
The New Seoul Apartment reconstruction site offers convenient access to surrounding areas via Jakseon Station on Incheon Line 1 and Bupyeong IC, while the Hyundai Apartment reconstruction project is accessible through Jemulpo Station on Subway Line 1 and Dohwa IC. Nearby schools include Incheon Hyoseong Elementary and Middle Schools, Sungui Elementary, Incheon Nam Middle, and Seonhwa Girls’ Middle Schools.
An SK Ecoplant official stated, "We will actively expand our contract areas this year based on our extensive know-how in numerous urban maintenance projects."
