Year-Round Campaign to Prepare Essential Health Assets for a 100-Year Life
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Samsung Life Insurance announced on the 9th that starting from the 10th, it will launch the 'Health Asset Up Campaign' to raise awareness about the importance of essential health assets in life.
Health assets refer to essential assets that care for today and prepare for tomorrow, meaning 'a strong body, reliable coverage, and solid retirement preparation.' Earlier, Young-mook Jeon, President of Samsung Life Insurance, stated in this year's New Year's address that the company would promote a health asset project encompassing not only traditional coverage assets but also retirement financial assets and everyday health management.
This campaign emphasizes that balanced preparation is necessary in ▲health management through forming good habits ▲coverage preparation to guard against unexpected illnesses or death ▲retirement asset preparation to maintain a stable life in old age.
Through this campaign, Samsung Life plans to expand the scope of insurance to cover everything from disease prevention to post-care. The company aims to become a true life finance partner by delivering the importance of health assets to the entire nation and providing the best products and solutions throughout customers' lives.
Customer participation events will also be held. From the 10th to the 31st, the event will be conducted through the Samsung Life Insurance website, and among customers who participate in the quiz, 2,022 will be selected by lottery to receive beverage mobile coupons.
Additionally, within the first quarter, a 'Health Asset Index Diagnostic Tool' will be introduced to assess the readiness of health assets, along with various health challenge events linked to a health management application (app) and self-tests to check lifestyle habits.
A Samsung Life Insurance official said, "The ultimate goal of the campaign is to realize Samsung Life's commitment to a 'healthy and happy Republic of Korea' by connecting the values of individuals, companies, and society," adding, "In an era where concerns about living long with illness and old-age poverty are approaching, we will actively support the entire nation to recognize and prepare for the importance of health assets."
