Yanolja Collaborates with Seoul City to Provide Free 'COVID-19 Family Safe Accommodation'

[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] Leisure platform Yanolja announced on the 6th that it will provide free accommodation for families of COVID-19 home treatment patients in cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

Yanolja recently signed a business agreement with the Seoul Metropolitan Government to support separate accommodations for families living with COVID-19 home treatment patients. According to the agreement, starting from the 10th of this month, Yanolja will offer all rooms at two of its brand hotels, 'H Avenue,' as COVID-19 family safety accommodations. If a confirmed case occurs among cohabiting family members requiring isolation, entry is allowed only after confirming the second dose of vaccination and a negative result from a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test.

The stay period is up to 10 days and can be extended until the period is judged to be free of infection risk. Yanolja has established a real-time communication channel with the Seoul Metropolitan Government to facilitate smooth check-in and check-out and regularly disinfects common areas to ensure the safe daily life of residents.

Shim Youngseok, Head of Yanolja's Management Connect Office, said, "Upon hearing about the recent surge in demand for safe isolation spaces, we decided to provide free accommodation to ensure the safe return to daily life for confirmed patients and their families." He added, "We will continue to actively support overcoming the COVID-19 crisis through proactive ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management."
