[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Joo-hee] A Blue House petition has emerged demanding the truth about the 'sexual bribery allegations' raised against Lee Jun-seok, the leader of the People Power Party.
On the 30th, a post titled "Please reveal the sexual bribery of Lee Jun-seok in 2013" was uploaded on the Blue House petition board.
The petitioner, who identified themselves as a 30-something office worker living in Seoul, opened by saying, "Recently, a YouTuber exposed that based on prosecution investigation records, Lee received sexual bribery at an establishment in Yuseong, Daejeon in 2013, putting him in a difficult position."
They added, "Today, even a civic group has filed a complaint against Lee Jun-seok," and demanded, "We must protect Lee. Please thoroughly investigate and clearly reveal that Lee did not commit any serious crimes."

Earlier, the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute (Gaseyeon) claimed in a broadcast on the 27th, "Lee received sexual bribery from Kim Sung-jin, CEO of iKist, at a hotel in Daejeon in 2013," and "This was confirmed through investigation materials from the Daejeon District Prosecutors' Office." Gaseyeon filed a complaint against Lee to the People Power Party's Ethics Committee on the 29th.
Lee immediately denied the allegations, stating, "The claims made by Gaseyeon are not true." On the same day, Lee also filed a complaint with the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul against Gaseyeon's cast members, lawyer Kang Yong-seok and former reporter Kim Se-ui, for violating the Information and Communications Network Act (defamation by false information).
