[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] On the 24th, Innisfree announced that it donated all the proceeds from the sale of the ‘Small Plogging for the Earth’ kit sold at the Gongbyeong Space store to the Seoul Environmental Federation.
‘Innisfree’ sold the ‘Small Plogging for the Earth’ kit at a pop-up store inside the Gongbyeong Space store. The total proceeds from the plogging kit sales, combined with Innisfree’s donation, amounted to 2 million KRW, which was donated to the Seoul Environmental Federation.
In September, ‘Innisfree’ held a pop-up store at Gongbyeong Space proposing a sustainable look-book #EarthLook to explore a healthy planet. They collaborated with the upcycling fashion brand ‘Overlap,’ which recycles worn-out leisure sports materials, and the eco-friendly outdoor lifewear brand ‘Shell Corporation’ to produce the upcycling goods bundle ‘Small Plogging for the Earth Kit.’ They also held plogging classes and an in-house plogging campaign for employees.
The ‘Small Plogging for the Earth Kit’ refers to a kit composed of items that make it fun to pick up litter while engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking or jogging. It includes a keyring upcycled from used parachute cords, a plogging bag, a reusable handkerchief made with eco-friendly dyes, a mini clip, and reusable gloves.
An official from Innisfree Gongbyeong Space said, “We planned this pop-up store operation and donation campaign as a way to funly convey the message of small actions for the Earth to customers through various themes. We hope you look forward to various pop-up spaces for sustainable small actions that can be experienced at the Innisfree Gongbyeong Space store in the future.”
