Nanugi World and Dongmyung University, Collaboration Performance on the 23rd at 7:30 PM
Jeon Ho-hwan, President of Dongmyung University, Special Appearance for Do-ing University Value Practice
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The cultural startup youth company Nanugi World and Dongmyung University present "Winter Story," filled with melodies and stories.
On the 23rd at 7:30 PM, a concert where "sharing" and "doing (practice)" meet will be held at Dongmyung University Central Library. It is a place where a company practicing sharing and a university educating experience share the stage together.
Due to COVID-19, up to 100 people will attend the venue, and it will be broadcast live on YouTube.
The first part will be hosted by Professor Jung Mi-young (Department of Media Communication) of the university.
Dongmyung University Ensemble T.U will perform a piano quintet including ▲Spring in My Hometown ▲Christmas Medley, calling for hope in the new year. Professors who are not music majors?Son Il-moon (Department of Automotive Engineering), Yoon Jung-jin (Department of Early Childhood Education), Jo Jun-mo (Department of Electronic Engineering), Choi Eon-sook and Noh Yoon-jung (AI Department), and Lee Kang-hyuk (Department of Game Engineering)?will take the stage.
Classical music familiar to the public will also be showcased. Winter-pleasing melodies such as La Traviata Fantasy and Schumann Romance will unfold.
CEO Na Hae-ri will play the violin, and young artist Kang Dae-hyun will be on piano. Choi Woo-sun will play the clarinet, and Director Kim Do-eun is in charge of arrangement.
Flutist Park Hyung-bae has a visual impairment, oboist Yoon Se-ho and violinist Baek In-sung have developmental disabilities. Among them, Park Hyung-bae and Yoon Se-ho are mentor professors at Dongmyung University's Doing College along with CEO Na Hae-ri.
Performances and stories from guests such as Lee Sang-hoon (Department of Architectural Engineering), selected as Dongmyung University's "Dongmyung King," and famous singer Kim Im-kyung (Visiting Professor at Do-ing College) are also awaited.
President Jeon Ho-hwan will also make a special appearance. He will perform songs from four countries?Korea, the U.S., Japan, and China?including "Nim's Fragrance," "Wolryang Daepyo Ajeokshim (China)," "Koibito Yo (Japan)," and "You Raise Me Up (English)."
This concert was prepared through the 2021 Busan City Mecenat Activation Support Citizen Crowdfunding Project. Twenty-six citizen sponsors participated in the funding.
CEO Na Hae-ri said, "Through the funding, we confirmed Busan citizens' love for culture and arts," and added, "We will create a solid foundation so that talented disabled artists and others can be more active."
