Content and Content Distribution Channel Development Underway

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Barogo, a startup operating a last-mile logistics IT platform (CEO Lee Taekwon), announced on the 23rd that it has signed a business agreement with MangoPlay (CEO Eom Jeil) to establish an 'OMO (Offline mergers with Online) business model based on a kitchen platform.'
MangoPlay is a content platform startup engaged in the MCN (Multi-Channel Network) business with talented creators. The two companies plan to build an online-offline combined business model based on Barogo's kitchen platform, "Dosijubang" (Urban Kitchen).
Barogo will provide the Dosijubang kitchen platform space as an open studio for content production by creators affiliated with MangoPlay. Additionally, Barogo and MangoPlay will jointly develop various foodservice-related content and content distribution channels using menus from stores located in Dosijubang.
In particular, as part of this business collaboration, Chef Choi Kang-rok, a creator affiliated with MangoPlay, will utilize the Dosijubang space to expand food and beverage business. Chef Choi Kang-rok is the winner of "MasterChef Korea 2" and has gained popularity by introducing unique recipes through numerous TV programs and YouTube.
Ryu Jaemin, Director of Business Development Group at Barogo, said, "Through this agreement, we will evolve Dosijubang into a kitchen platform that transcends online and offline boundaries."
