Hong Eun-taek, CEO of Kakao Commerce
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Hong Eun-taek, CEO of Kakao Commerce, announced his resignation on the 22nd.
It is known that CEO Hong expressed this intention during a non-face-to-face year-end party held that afternoon.
From next year, Yeominsu and Ryu Youngjun, the co-CEOs of Kakao, are expected to directly lead Kakao Commerce.
CEO Hong will be responsible for Kakao's social contribution efforts, including mutual growth.
Kakao Commerce, which was a subsidiary, merged back with Kakao in September after three years of spin-off and is now operating as a company-in-company (CIC) system.
