Added O&M Business to Korea's Only Industrial Water Treatment Platform
Strengthening the Water Treatment Value Chain
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] EN Corporation announced on the 21st that it has completed the acquisition of Daeyang Enviro, a water treatment O&M specialized company.
Daeyang Enviro has provided environmental facility operation services such as the operation of over 200 sewage treatment plants and incineration facilities domestically and internationally for more than 30 years. As a technology-innovative O&M specialized company, it recorded sales of 37 billion KRW last year.
By acquiring Daeyang Enviro, EN Corporation has expanded its business scope from water treatment EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) to liquid designated waste and industrial wastewater treatment, as well as O&M, completing the industrial water treatment value chain. With Daeyang Enviro incorporated as a subsidiary, its performance is expected to be reflected in consolidated financial statements starting next year.
A company official stated, "Combining Daeyang Enviro's public sector O&M expertise with the industrial water treatment platform will create significant synergy among subsidiaries," adding, "We will be able to provide differentiated integrated solutions across all areas." He continued, "Next year, we plan to focus on stabilizing the only industrial water treatment platform in Korea and increasing corporate value through aggressive sales efforts."
