[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 20th that it held the '2021 Mam-Pum Support Group Representatives Meeting' in the large conference room on the 2nd floor of the government building.

At the meeting, Superintendent Jang Seok-woong presented plaques of appreciation to 22 outstanding members recommended from the region and had a discussion about the operation direction and current issues of the Mam-Pum Support Group.

The members shared their opinions with the superintendent on topics such as ways to revitalize the Mam-Pum Support Group and reaffirmed their commitment to cooperate for children who need love and care.

The Mam-Pum Support Group is a project that provides counseling services to create a safe school culture free from risks such as school violence by offering warm support like a mother's embrace to single-parent families and students in need of care.

The support group consists of parents and local residents living in the province who are determined to provide continuous warm maternal love to children. It has been operating for eight years since the first inauguration ceremony in 2014, and this year, 201 members are active.

Superintendent Jang Seok-woong said, "I am grateful to the Mam-Pum Support Group and the House of Support who passionately and devotedly serve the students in need in Jeonnam, and I will thoroughly review the valuable opinions and reflect them in policies."
