[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Shinhan Card announced on the 19th that the blockchain technology-based electronic entry log service 'Jeju Ansim Code' can be used on Shinhan Play.

Jeju Ansim Code is a blockchain electronic entry log service jointly developed by ICONLOOP and Jeju Province to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and enable efficient epidemiological investigations. When customers visit restaurants and other establishments in Jeju Province, they complete entry authentication by scanning the QR code displayed at the store with the Jeju Ansim Code application (app) using their smartphone camera.

By integrating Jeju Ansim Code into Shinhan Play, customers can conveniently use Shinhan Play without installing a separate app when visiting multi-use facilities in Jeju Province.

Starting with the introduction of Jeju Ansim Code, Shinhan Card plans to expand cooperation for blockchain business growth by conducting joint research and development (R&D) in new blockchain-based technology areas together with ICONLOOP.

To commemorate the integration of Jeju Ansim Code into Shinhan Play, Shinhan Card is also holding an event. The first 5,000 customers who authenticate Jeju Ansim Code on Shinhan Play and make a payment of 10,000 KRW or more with a Shinhan Card will receive 1,000 My Shinhan Points.
