According to the police on the 19th, at around 9:50 a.m. that day, Mr. A, a tow truck driver in his 30s, was working to tow a vehicle involved in a rear-end collision in the first lane of a road in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do.
At that time, a Tucson vehicle driving in the second lane hit Mr. A, who was working, and then two SUVs driving in the same lane consecutively collided with the Tucson vehicle.
As a result of this accident, Mr. A died, and the Tucson driver, Mr. B, was injured and is receiving treatment at a hospital.
It was investigated that the road where the accident occurred was icy due to snow that had fallen since the afternoon of the previous day (the 18th).
The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident with the three drivers involved in the secondary accident.
