Wanju County Council Chairman Kim Jaecheon Receives 'Jeollabuk-do Person of the Year' Award

[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] On the 17th, Kim Jae-cheon, chairman of the Wanju County Council, received the 'Grand Prize in Basic Legislative Activities' at the 7th Jeollabuk-do Person of the Year Awards ceremony, jointly hosted by the Korea Journalists Association and the International Lions Club Jeonbuk District.

Councilman Kim Jae-cheon was highly praised for his service to the region as chairman, his efforts to resolve local issues, contributions to improving the welfare of county residents and the development of Wanju County, as well as his dedication to the advancement of local autonomy.

Chairman Kim was elected as a first-term member of the 8th Wanju County Council and devoted himself to improving the welfare of county residents and enhancing the living environment of local residents. After being elected chairman in the latter half of the term, he focused on legislative activities beyond his constituency.

Chairman Kim Jae-cheon said, "I just did what was naturally expected of a council member, but I feel honored to receive such a generous award," and added, "I will continue to do my best in legislative activities for the development of Wanju County and local councils."
