Ilyeon FNC Expands Supply of Ready Meals and More... Osong Factory Production Up 122%

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Lee Yeon FNC announced on the 17th that the production volume of broth at its Osong factory in Chungbuk increased by approximately 122% compared to last year due to the expansion of its convenience food and ingredient supply business this year.

Lee Yeon FNC has developed and launched about 40 different products this year alone, supplying them to major dining franchises and food companies.

Lee Yeon FNC's Osong factory, completed in 2019, is equipped with facilities capable of producing about 36,000 tons of broth annually, incorporating the know-how of Hanchon Seolleongtang, as well as producing convenience foods. This enables stable logistics supply to franchise stores while promoting convenience food and OEM businesses.

A representative from Lee Yeon FNC stated, “Due to increased demand for convenience foods caused by COVID-19 and the active progress of the ingredient supply business, production volume within the Osong smart factory has been steadily increasing. As the Osong factory serves as a stepping stone for growth into a comprehensive food company, we plan to continue actively expanding our broth and food businesses.”
