[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Pulmuone is strengthening its competitiveness in the food category through a joint marketing agreement with SSG.com.


On the 17th, Pulmuone Foods announced that it had signed a "Joint Business Partnership (JBP) for Leading the Online Food Market" with SSG.com. This agreement was promoted for the two companies, which have continuously collaborated on eco-friendly campaigns, to become partners leading ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management in the online food market.


So far, the two companies have worked together on various activities to encourage consumers to practice eco-friendly values in their daily lives, such as Earth Day commemorative eco-friendly package giveaway events, eco-friendly recycling bag giveaways to promote waste separation, and plant-based food exhibitions.


Through this agreement, the two companies plan to pursue ▲ "Maximizing eco-friendly value" by continuously expanding ESG-based plant-oriented foods and animal welfare products ▲ "Growth expansion" through launching Pulmuone’s official brand store and developing online customized products ▲ "CRM (Customer Relationship Management) collaboration" for sharing purchase data and developing customer-tailored products.


As the first collaborative project, Pulmuone will open an official brand store on SSG.com on the 20th. Through this brand store, Pulmuone plans to offer exclusive products and special promotions. Additionally, the live commerce and ESG campaigns prepared jointly by the two companies will be introduced. To commemorate the opening of the official brand store, Pulmuone and SSG.com will also hold joint promotions until the 31st. Various customer benefits are prepared, ranging from special discounts on food products to time deals and gift events.


Cheon Young-hoon, Head of Pulmuone Foods B2C Sales Division, stated, “Through this business agreement, the two companies will lead the growth of the online food market together while actively promoting eco-friendly activities to widely spread ESG values in the online food market.”
