Hyundai Home Shopping Sees Popularity in Fashion and Beauty Products... "Premium Strategy Worked" The brand 'Isangbong Edition,' exclusively presented by Hyundai Home Shopping.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] This year, fashion and beauty brands were the best-selling categories on TV home shopping.


According to Hyundai Home Shopping on the 13th, the selection of the '2021 Best Brands' showed that fashion brands accounted for six of the top spots, the highest number. This is one more than last year's five.


There was a higher demand for premium products made with high-quality materials rather than cost-effective items. The brand 'Isangbong Edition,' exclusively offered by Hyundai Home Shopping, sold 760,000 units, ranking first. The private brand (PB) LACIENTO, which pursues a premium strategy, took second place.


Designer Jung Kuho's JBY ranked third, and American designer brand Anna Sui came in fourth. Comfortable clothing brand USPA and premium cashmere brand Gobi ranked sixth and ninth, respectively. Cosmetic brands AHC and GAHI ranked seventh and tenth, while AER masks took fifth place.


A Hyundai Home Shopping official said, "By analyzing customers' big purchase data and quickly applying it to the development of exclusive and private brand products, we received positive responses from customers, leading to remarkable growth in fashion product sales. We will continue to introduce specialized products featuring high quality and trendy designs to lead trends in the home shopping industry."
