[Asia Economy by Lee Isul] Actor Son Seokgu has denied rumors of a romantic relationship with Lee Seol.
On the morning of December 10, a representative from Son Seokgu's agency, Saetbyeoldang Entertainment, told Asia Economy, "He is not dating Lee Seol," adding, "They are just close colleagues and friends."
Earlier that day, OSEN reported that Son Seokgu and Lee Seol had developed a romantic relationship after being colleagues since last year. The report claimed that the two had informed their close actor friends about their relationship and had been expressing affection for each other through their social networking service (SNS) accounts.
Additionally, Lee Seol made a special appearance in the Netflix original series "D.P." (Deserter Pursuit), in which Son Seokgu starred earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Son Seokgu made his debut in 2017 with the drama "Sense8 Season 2" and has since appeared in dramas such as "Suits," "The Best Divorce," "Designated Survivor: 60 Days," as well as films like "Hit-and-Run Squad" and "Nothing Serious." He also recently showcased his directorial work "Rebroadcast" through Watcha's short film project "Unframed."
Lee Seol, a rookie actress who debuted in 2016 in singer Jay Park's music video, gained recognition through the 2018 KBS Chuseok special "Ok-ran Myeonok." She is currently starring in the Coupang Play original series "One Ordinary Day."
