The presentation will be conducted online, with about 600 participants including nutrition teachers, nutritionists, food hygiene staff, and education office officials from the district.

The School Meal Research Association is a voluntary research group composed of nutrition teachers and nutritionists aimed at enhancing the quality of school meals and providing nutrition and dietary education to students.

The research association consists of a total of eight sub-research groups: School Table Research Association, Work Standardization Research Association, Special School Nutrition Education Research Association, Class Meal Recipe Research Association, Food Education Counseling Research Association, School Nutrition Education Research Association, School Meal Class Education Research Association, and School Nutrition Counseling Education Research Association.

At the presentation, Shin Young-bin, a third-year student at Busan Il Science High School, will present on the topic "System Proposal for Building School Meal Big Data."

Student Shin Young-bin received the grand prize at the Ministry of Education's School Meal National Idea Contest.

The sub-research groups will present their research achievements on school meal operations over the past year, focusing on local cuisine, vegetarian dishes, and world cuisine.

The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education plans to compile the presentations and operational achievements into a performance report booklet and distribute it to individual schools.

Nam Soo-jung, Director of School Life Education at the Busan Education Office, said, "The presentation aims to help students maintain healthy eating habits by enhancing the quality and operation of school meals."
