Since the launch of the 7th local government, Dong-gu has established a strong sense of mission regarding integrity among all public officials, including the mayor, and has been implementing comprehensive measures to improve integrity and establish an anti-corruption and integrity culture.
It is also evaluated that Dong-gu has made continuous efforts to achieve a level of integrity that satisfies residents by promptly receiving and handling complaints and directly monitoring the integrity of all public officials.
So far, Dong-gu has continuously promoted high-intensity integrity policies such as ▲ posting an integrity pledge from all employees at the first-floor entrance ▲ periodic integrity broadcasts ▲ Cheongbaek-e system ▲ Integrity Clean-call ▲ operation of the Integrity Audit Room ▲ issuance of integrity alerts ▲ communication and empathy education for all employees ▲ integrity education by rank.
Mayor Im Taek of Dong-gu said, "We have achieved a meaningful result of receiving a Grade 2 integrity rating for three consecutive years through the active participation and self-reflection of all public officials," and added, "We will continue to do our best to implement integrity administration with excessively strict standards and criteria among all public officials."
