"Expanding the Exhibition Limits of Offline Stores... Providing the Best Experience, Consultation, and Benefits"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jonghwa] Hanssem has opened 'Hanssem Design Park Mapo Branch,' a large-scale total home interior store that brings together all its digital capabilities.
Hanssem Design Park Mapo Branch is located in the commercial area near Mapo Station on Seoul Subway Line 5. It is a total home interior store with a total area of 3,246㎡ (approximately 982 pyeong) spanning from basement level 1 to the third floor, where customers can find Hanssem's kitchens, bathrooms, furniture, and household goods all in one place.
This digital experience store allows customers to virtually experience information necessary for home interior through various experience zones integrated with digital technology. In the lifestyle package spaces for each room such as bedroom, living room, children's room, and study, visitors can also explore the 'Lifestyle Plan Zone,' which is implemented with virtual reality (VR) to replicate the actual exhibition.
On the third floor, where Hanssem's 'Kitchen & Bath' store is located, the entire nationwide Hanssem Kitchen & Bath showrooms are recreated in VR. Various information is provided through the 'VR Studio,' where all kitchen and bathroom products can be viewed; the 'Smart Kiosk,' which allows non-face-to-face browsing of kitchen and bathroom products; and the 'Sample Scanner,' which shows product information upon touching samples.
Customized 3D design consultations are also available using the three-dimensional (3D) design consultation program 'Home Planner 2.0.' Hanssem Home Planner 2.0 has a database of 3D floor plans for over 50,000 apartments nationwide, including those near the Mapo branch commercial area.
Hanssem Design Park Mapo Branch is the first store launched through the retail sales collaboration between Hanssem and Samsung Electronics. Unlike previous stores that were set up as 'shop-in-shop' within existing stores, this store was jointly planned from the selection of the location to the internal joint exhibition layout. On basement level 1, Hanssem's household goods hall and Samsung Electronics appliance store operate together, while on the first floor, Hanssem's interior furniture hall, Samsung Electronics Bespoke series zone, and mobile zone are jointly operated.
Kim Yongha, Executive Director of Hanssem Interior Business Division, said, "Hanssem Design Park Mapo Branch is a store that expands the exhibition limits of offline stores," adding, "As the first store jointly planned by Hanssem, the number one home interior company in Korea, and Samsung Electronics, the world's leading home appliance company, we will provide the best consultations and benefits to customers who want to decorate their homes with furniture and appliances."
