How to Overcome the 'Bulsunung' and Enter University?... Seoul Jung-gu Holds 2022 College Admission Information Session

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jung-gu, Seoul (Mayor Seoyangho) announced that it will hold the '2022 Academic Year College Admission Regular Admission Information Session' on the 18th.

This year's first integrated liberal arts and science CSAT, held last month, was so difficult that it was called a 'bul-sunung' (extremely difficult CSAT), requiring more thorough regular admission support strategies than ever before.

The district prepared this information session to help high school seniors and their parents effectively establish college admission strategies by providing accurate regular admission information through thorough analysis by admission experts.

The session will be conducted by consultant Lee Juhan of the Jung-gu College Admission Counseling Center (former admissions officer at Korea University) and admission expert Han Daegyu (admission consultant at Jongno Academy).

The information session, held at the Jung-gu Education Support Center 'Iroum,' will proceed in the order of ▲2022 CSAT analysis and regular admission support strategies ▲strategies for applying to junior colleges ▲1:1 regular admission consulting.

Applications for attendance can be made through the Jung-gu Education Support Center website. Considering the COVID-19 situation, attendance is limited to a maximum of 80 people.

1:1 consulting is limited to the first 40 people on the day, and applications can be made on-site from 12 PM on the day. Students wishing to participate must bring their CSAT score report.

Participants will be provided with regular admission materials free of charge. Students who cannot attend on the day can watch the session later online through Jung-gu's YouTube channel 'Euljiro Jeonpasa.'

The district plans to continue regular admission consulting at the Jung-gu College Admission Counseling Center until the end of December. For related inquiries, contact the Jung-gu College Admission Counseling Center.

Seoyangho, Mayor of Jung-gu, said, "We prepared this event to ease the concerns of high school seniors and their parents about college admissions even a little," and added, "I hope this information session will help in establishing effective admission strategies."
