Yoon Seok-yeol, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, and Lee Jun-seok, the party leader, visited the Daehak-ro area in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 8th to capture the votes of people in their 20s and 30s. On that day, Yoon and Lee visited a small theater and held a meeting with young cultural artists under the theme "Is dreaming also a luxury?" to listen to their difficulties.
Yoon stated, "The government spends too little money on the cultural sector, causing hardships for young cultural artists, so it is necessary to invest a huge budget in related fields," adding, "A welfare concept is needed even in the cultural domain, so the government will establish a system that first creates cultural demand."
Following this, Lee and Yoon jointly held a street campaign. The Daehak-ro area was filled with about 100 citizens and reporters who gathered to see them. Although various age groups were present, male supporters in their 20s and 30s stood out at the scene.
Kim (19), who said he came to the campaign site to see Lee in person, said, "I didn't know much about politics, but I became interested because of Lee Jun-seok," and added, "That's something existing politicians haven't done."
Three young people in their mid-20s nearby emphasized in response to the question "Why do you support candidate Yoon?" that "Although he may still be somewhat lacking, he communicates better than other politicians." They also stressed, "Lee's role is also significant in that regard."

One young person said, "I like Lee Jun-seok, and I also like the combat uniform," adding, "Those efforts seem to be among the many reasons why young people can't help but be interested in candidate Yoon."
Park, in his 60s, who revealed his hometown as Gwangju Metropolitan City, said, "I am from Honam," and raised his voice, "But I am very disappointed with the Democratic Party. This time, regime change must happen."
Meanwhile, there were some small and large clashes at Yoon's campaign site. There was a dispute involving loud voices between a man who appeared to be a supporter of Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate, and Yoon's supporters. One man burst out, "I can like Lee Jae-myung, but why come here and do this?"
During the campaign, candidate Lee and candidate Yoon also challenged the dalgona candy picking game featured in the Netflix drama "Squid Game." Supporters crowded into the narrow alley to watch, causing congestion in the area.
Meanwhile, the joint appearances of candidate Yoon and leader Lee mark the third time following street campaigns in Busan on the 4th and a night patrol in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 7th. After reconciling their conflict through a "Ulsan meeting" on the afternoon of the 3rd, Yoon and Lee have been conducting joint election campaigns.
