Kyungpook National University Hospital Selected as an Exemplary Institution for Educational Contribution

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Kyungpook National University Hospital announced on the 8th that it was selected as an institution meritorious for love-sharing educational donation and received a plaque of appreciation from the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education.

Kyungpook National University Hospital was recognized for its contribution to spreading educational donations by continuously conducting visiting educational donation activities for local elementary and middle school students under the theme of "Our Dreaming Hospital."

Since 2017 until this year, Kyungpook National University Hospital has been carrying out educational donation projects that provide diverse and high-quality educational opportunities to about 2,000 elementary and middle school students in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas to foster creative future talents.

By introducing health and medical-related occupations and conducting health education, it provides students with opportunities to explore career paths and contributes to raising awareness of health and hygiene.

Kyungpook National University Hospital is the only national university hospital conducting educational donation activities and leads educational support activities in the local community by operating career exploration and experiential programs reflecting the characteristics of medical institutions.

Hospital Director Kim Yong-rim said, “We will continue to contribute to the development of education in the local community and the activation of educational donations through ongoing educational donation activities.”
