Upbit's dedicated voice phishing call center is operated by personnel specialized in responding to voice phishing. If you have been asked to withdraw digital assets through Upbit or have already made a withdrawal upon request, you can contact the dedicated call center for assistance.
Advanced measures to prevent additional damage are also being continuously pursued. By introducing machine learning technology into its own abnormal transaction detection system, AI learns financial fraud patterns within 24 hours and detects criminal activities in transaction and deposit/withdrawal histories in advance.
In the future, Upbit plans to more than double the number of personnel responding to voice phishing and ensure that proactive measures are taken promptly. Additionally, to prevent the spread of criminal damage, it will operate its own detection devices, continuously report detected cases, and actively provide guidance on how to respond.
An Upbit official said, “In situations suspected of voice phishing, but where phone calls are unstable or rapid response is needed, customers can visit Upbit without hesitation, and within regulatory limits, taxi fares for visits will also be supported.”
