Relieving Inconveniences for Vulnerable Groups through Light Bulb Replacement, Nailing, and Window Screen Repair
[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Wanju-gun announced on the 8th that it is operating a ‘Visiting Home Repair Task Force’ to alleviate inconveniences in daily life for housing-vulnerable groups.
The Visiting Home Repair Task Force, composed of two fixed-term workers, visits housing-vulnerable groups directly to inspect and repair inconveniences in daily life.
In particular, minor repairs such as fixing lights, outlets, and switches, hammering nails, and immediate handling of daily inconveniences like door handles and insect screens are repaired free of charge.
The target groups for the living civil complaint service include recipients under Article 2, Clause 2 of the National Basic Livelihood Security Act, households with seniors aged 70 or older, severely disabled persons classified from Grade 1 to 3 under the Welfare of Disabled Persons Act, and village halls and senior citizen centers.
Housing-vulnerable groups in Wanju-gun can receive the service by calling the administrative welfare center of the relevant eup/myeon or the Housing Welfare Team at the county office when inconveniences occur in daily life.
