[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Chosun Institute of Science and Technology (President Cho Soon-gye) announced on the 7th that it conducted the '2021 Gwangju-type Franchise Store Owner Capacity Building' training jointly hosted with the Gwangju Metropolitan City Economic Employment Promotion Agency (Director Na Seong-hwa) on the 3rd.


This training was attended by 25 franchise store owners operating Gwangju-type franchise brands such as Haean Restaurant, Kim Hyung-je, Neulpang, Founday, Under the Sea Dried Seafood, Dongmyeong Bakery, Bareun Sushi, 39 Kongnamul Gukbap, Kkantwinam, and others, including Song Ji-hyun, head of the Franchise Startup Management Department at Chosun Institute of Science and Technology.


Launched for the first time this year, this training course aims to strengthen the management capabilities of franchise store owners, who are the cornerstone of the Gwangju-type franchise industry, following the CEO course and supervisor training course designed to enhance the capabilities of the headquarters' CEOs and executives. The program focused on understanding the Gwangju-type franchise system, win-win strategies between headquarters and franchise stores, service marketing techniques, efficient management and success cases of delivery apps, and service techniques to improve franchise store competitiveness, with the goal of enhancing the competitiveness of franchise store owners.


Song Ji-hyun, head of the Franchise Startup Management Department at Chosun Institute of Science and Technology, said, "The franchise store owner capacity building training, launched for the first time this year, was established to strengthen the capabilities of franchise store owners, who are key members for the development of the Gwangju-type franchise industry," adding, "I hope it serves as motivation to overcome the difficult times caused by COVID-19."
