[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actor Lee Je-hoon won the Best Actor award for 'Move to Heaven'.

Lee Je-hoon was selected as Best Actor at the 2021 AACA (Asian Academy Creative Awards), held in Singapore on the 2nd and 3rd, for the Netflix series 'Move to Heaven: I am a Remnant Organizer'.

On the 7th, Lee Je-hoon expressed his gratitude through his agency Company On, saying, "I am truly thankful for the opportunity to once again cherish 'Move to Heaven' through this award. Thanks to the efforts of many people including the director and the writer, a warm work was born, and it seems to have received such great love."

He continued, "I am very grateful to be able to enjoy the honor of this happy award thanks to a good work, and I hope people will remember Sang-gu for a long time."

The AACA (Asian Academy Creative Awards) is Asia's largest content awards ceremony that reviews the Asian content market of the year and announces winners in categories such as actors, dramas, entertainment, branded content, and documentaries every year.

Netflix's 'Move to Heaven: I am a Remnant Organizer' depicts the story of a remnant organizer with Asperger's syndrome, Geu-ro (played by Tang Jun-sang), and his guardian Sang-gu (played by Lee Je-hoon), who help with the last move of those who have passed away and deliver the stories they could not convey to their loved ones.

Lee Je-hoon played the role of Jo Sang-gu, the guardian of Geu-ro (played by Tang Jun-sang), a remnant organizer with Asperger's syndrome, successfully transforming his image into a masculine martial arts athlete character, and received praise for his dense emotional acting.

Meanwhile, Lee Je-hoon took on his first directing challenge with the short film project 'Unframed' (produced by Hardcut), which will be released on the online video service (OTT) Watcha on the 8th. The work depicts the story of Chan-young (played by Jung Hae-in), a job seeker who dreams of an ordinary life while facing anxiety and worries about the future, chasing happiness that is hard to grasp no matter how hard he tries.
