Samsung Electro-Mechanics Appoints Jang Deok-hyun, Vice President of Samsung Electronics, as New President

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hye-young] Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced on the 7th that it has promoted Jang Deok-hyun, Vice President of Samsung Electronics, to the position of new CEO.

Jang Deok-hyun, the new CEO, is a semiconductor development expert who has served as Head of Solution Development at Samsung Electronics Memory Division, Head of LSI Development at System LSI Division, Head of SOC Development, and Head of Sensor Business Team.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics explained that with the appointment of Jang Deok-hyun, who has technological leadership in various products such as memory and system semiconductors, as the new CEO, it is expected to contribute to Samsung Electro-Mechanics' growth into a global top component company surpassing its competitors.
