The company explained that Vice Chairman Jeon will serve as the chairman of the board, contributing to strengthening ESG management and passing on management know-how to nurture future leaders.

Newly appointed President Choi Yoonho is recognized for his contribution to Samsung Electronics' global growth through his roles as head of the Europe business management support team, executive in charge of the business support task force, and head of the company-wide management support office.

Samsung SDI stated that by appointing President Choi, who has global business experience and business operation capabilities as a financial expert, as CEO, it expects to significantly strengthen Samsung SDI's global business competitiveness.
