Kiwoom Securities, Up to 90% Discount Event on Domestic Futures and Options Fees

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Kiwoom Securities announced on the 7th that it will hold a 'Domestic Futures and Options Commission Fee Discount Event of up to 90%' for new and dormant customers until March 4th next year.

Eligible new customers are those who opened a futures and options account for the first time after the 1st of this month. Dormant customers are those who opened a futures and options account before May 31st of this year and have had no futures and options transactions for six months from June 1st.

New and dormant domestic futures and options customers can receive commission discounts for three months based on non-face-to-face accounts after applying for the event. Additionally, if the transaction amount exceeds 60 billion KRW for futures or 2 billion KRW for options during the commission discount period based on non-face-to-face accounts, an additional three months of discount can be applied, allowing for a maximum of six months of discount. This commission discount only requires payment of related institution fees, enabling approximately 90% commission cost savings based on KOSPI200 futures.
