[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hana Financial Group announced on the 7th that it has donated 12 billion KRW in year-end neighbor aid funds.
At the 'Hope 2022 Sharing Campaign' handover ceremony held the day before at the Community Chest of Korea, Hana Financial Group's 15 affiliates united their intentions to serve as a social vaccine supporting COVID-19 recovery and daily life restoration, delivering 12 billion KRW in neighbor aid funds, an increase of 2 billion KRW compared to 10 billion KRW last year.
Additionally, this neighbor aid fund will be supported across four major areas in line with the Community Chest of Korea's campaign slogan, "Sharing, a Social Vaccine for All": ▲ COVID-19 daily life recovery support ▲ emergency support for families in crisis ▲ care support for socially vulnerable groups ▲ child education and youth self-reliance support.
At the fund handover ceremony, Ham Young-joo, Vice Chairman of Hana Financial Group, stated, “As COVID-19 prolongs, the number of neighbors needing help around us is increasing,” and added, “Hana Financial Group will continue active sharing activities with the Fruit of Love to raise the hope temperature of neighbors in difficulty.”
