The morning low temperatures will range nationwide from -2°C to 8°C, similar to December 6 (from -5.9°C to 8.9°C) and higher than the average (from -7°C to 3°C).

The daytime high temperatures will be between 10°C and 16°C, also similar to December 6 (9°C to 16°C) and higher compared to the average (3°C to 11°C).

Seoul will have lows and highs of 2°C and 13°C, Incheon 3°C and 11°C, Gwangju 2°C and 14°C, Daegu 1°C and 14°C, Ulsan 5°C and 14°C, and Busan 8°C and 16°C. Daejeon is expected to have a low of -2°C and a high of 13°C.

The warmer-than-average weather is expected to continue for the time being. Although Daeseol is the period when the most snow falls in a year, on the 7th, snow is expected only in the Gangwon mountain areas with elevations above 1000 meters. The expected snowfall amount is also not heavy, around 1 to 3 cm.

On the 7th, rain will fall from morning to night in the lower-altitude Gangwon mountain areas and the Gangwon East Coast. Rain will also fall from afternoon to night on the Gyeongbuk East Coast and the northeastern mountain areas of Gyeongbuk. Precipitation amounts are expected to be 5 to 20 mm on the Gangwon East Coast, and around 5 mm in the Gangwon mountain areas, Gyeongbuk East Coast, and northeastern mountain areas of Gyeongbuk.
