Jangseong-gun to Implement 'Local Tax Non-Tax Revenue Automatic Transfer Payment Service' Starting Next Year

[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Yoo Dooseok) announced on the 6th that it will implement the ‘Local Tax Non-Tax Revenue Account Automatic Transfer Payment Service’ starting January 1 next year.

The applicable items are loan fees and usage fees that are regularly and periodically charged, including shared (provincial and county-owned) property loan fees, market usage fees, road occupation fees, and river usage fees.

Applications can be submitted in person at the county office (non-tax revenue assessment department or finance division) or the eup/myeon administrative welfare centers after January next year, and fax or mail applications are also accepted.

Applicants must bring a copy of the applicant’s and account holder’s ID and a copy of the bankbook when applying.

Automatic transfer payments will be applied from the month following the application date, and the withdrawal date is the last day of each month.

It is especially important to remember that only full withdrawal is possible. If the withdrawal is not made due to insufficient balance on the withdrawal date, additional charges will be incurred.

A county official said, “We aim to improve payment convenience by resolving the previous inconvenience of having to visit financial institutions when paying local tax non-tax revenues.”
