Husentech "iSolution Preparing to Enter Mining Business"

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Husentec announced on the 6th that its subsidiary, Isolution, has acquired an Ethereum mining center and plans to launch a new business within the year.

The acquired mining center currently has a 70-gigahash rate established, with the capacity to expand up to 160 gigahash. Isolution plans to achieve 160 gigahash by the first quarter of next year through facility expansion. If achieved, it will become the largest single-scale mining center in South Korea. The hash rate refers to the computing power used for virtual asset mining, representing the computational power required to solve blockchain hash functions.

A company representative explained, “Mining companies listed on the US Nasdaq are receiving love calls from institutions and are gaining attention as alternative investment destinations,” adding, “Recently, Wall Street has forecasted that mining companies’ profit outlook for next year will increase by 2 to 3 times compared to this year.”

This acquisition goes beyond a simple transfer of the mining center; it also includes the transfer of mining know-how accumulated at HashCloud and the technology for improved dedicated software and hardware. The company aims to achieve the industry's best efficiency through differentiated specialized technology.

A Husentec representative stated, “Based on our currently stable defense industry operations, we will focus on the secondary battery core materials business and virtual asset mining business as future new growth engines.”
