Shinhan Bank Links Jeonse Loan Service to Seoul Wallet 'Isawon'

Shinhan Bank Links Jeonse Loan Service to Seoul Wallet 'Isawon'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Shinhan Bank announced on the 6th that it will be the first bank in the banking sector to link and provide a non-face-to-face jeonse loan service within 'Isawon' in the Seoul public application (app) Seoul Wallet to activate public MyData services.

Isawon, which Seoul City installed in the Seoul Wallet app on the 1st, supports administrative tasks related to jeonse moving, such as confirmation of fixed dates and moving-in reports, based on the real estate electronic contract provided by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and issues various administrative documents required for bank loans with a single click.

Shinhan Bank collaborated with Seoul City to help Seoul citizens move comfortably by linking Shinhan SOL to Isawon via an app-to-app method so that jeonse loan applications can be made immediately after the necessary administrative tasks when moving.

This linked service is significant in that it established a system that can provide the entire jeonse loan process non-face-to-face using public MyData for the first time in the banking sector.

In June, Shinhan Bank participated in the public MyData demonstration service support project supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT and hosted by the Korea Data Industry Promotion Agency as a consortium with Seoul City.

A Shinhan Bank official said, "As the Seoul City treasury bank, we prepared to link a non-face-to-face jeonse loan service using public MyData to support Seoul citizens," adding, "We will continue to provide financial services that can enhance customer convenience."
