GS Retail is conducting a large-scale open recruitment for experienced professionals in the Digital Commerce Business Unit (B/U) until the 12th of this month.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] GS Retail announced on the 6th that it will conduct a large-scale open recruitment of experienced employees for the Digital Commerce Business Unit (B/U) until the 12th.
The Digital Commerce B/U is a newly established organization launched in July when GS Retail merged with GS Shop, overseeing all e-commerce business areas including GS Shop, GS Fresh Mall, Simply Cook, and Dalli Salda.
The recruitment fields include 10 key business roles such as product planning (MD), marketing, and strategy under each brand of the Digital Commerce B/U. The number of hires is in the double digits. Applications are accepted through GS Retail’s recruitment website, followed by a first-round interview with the working-level team and a second-round interview with executives before final selection.
GS Retail plans to focus on digital commerce growth until 2025, aiming to expand the business scale to 5.8 trillion KRW. To achieve this, it is investing approximately 270 billion KRW in ▲talent development ▲IT infrastructure construction ▲expansion of new business investments ▲construction of logistics centers, strengthening core competencies and proactively securing new growth momentum.
