On the night of the 3rd, JTBC's "The Place Where I Return to Myself - Liberation Town" (hereinafter Liberation Town) featured 23-year-debut actress Shin Ji-su as a new resident. Shin Ji-su revealed that she has a 4-year-old daughter named Bomi after getting married in 2017.

Previously, Shin Ji-su visited actress Yoo Sun's Liberation Town and expressed the hardships of childcare, evoking sympathy. On this day, Shin Ji-su shared, "I received a lot of sympathy after the broadcast," adding, "I became an icon of pity. When I go outside with my child, others take care of the child instead of me."

When asked, "When was the time you weighed the most?" Shin Ji-su answered, "50kg when I was full-term pregnant," which shocked viewers. She also certified her weight as 37kg on her social media (SNS).

Shin Ji-su, who said she received the offer to appear on "Liberation Town" just before burnout, stated, "I decided to appear in one second without my family's consent." She continued, "I was on the verge of going crazy because of childcare. It was my first liberation in four years since marriage," adding, "My child does not want to be separated from me. When my husband holds her, she screams and causes a fuss."

Shin Ji-su recalled, "I got pregnant right after marriage and gave birth to Bomi in the spring of 2018," saying, "I had no time to be active because I was raising a baby. It's really a dirty story, but when Bomi was a newborn, I showered once every five days." She also confessed, "I felt like everything would collapse if I cried," and "I couldn't cry recklessly. If I cried, I felt like I would never be able to pull myself back up."

On her liberation day, Shin Ji-su brought only about a shopping basket of luggage and expressed, "Today, I wanted to be liberated even from luggage." She enjoyed freedom by drinking canned beer from early afternoon, saying, "Usually, there is no good reason to drink beer during the day. Being in a space without any restrictions, I wanted to drink beer first."

In addition, while watching a drama, Shin Ji-su shared her feelings: "I have acted for a long time. It's strange to do nothing and live only for my child," and "It would be a lie to say I don't miss acting, but if I long for it, I think it would be too hard for me." She spent her liberation time trying a makeover at a beauty salon and meeting university classmates.
