[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jun-yi] Yoon Seok-yeol, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, described his leadership as 'leadership of patience,' saying, "Even if it takes time, waiting and enduring for the right path is more important than anything else," regarding the recent process of forming the campaign committee.

On the 5th, Yoon stated through Facebook, "If it is for regime change, I can endure even greater difficulties."

He said, "There were unintended many pains during the formation of the campaign committee, causing anxiety and concern to party members and the public," adding, "It was a time of repeated reflection with a heavy heart."

Previously, Yoon experienced difficulties surrounding the joining of Kim Jong-in as the general campaign committee chairman and the authority issues of Lee Jun-seok, the party leader. During this process, Lee expressed displeasure toward Yoon and the campaign committee and disappeared for four days in places such as Busan, Suncheon, Yeosu, and Jeju.

He emphasized that the series of situations were overcome through 'dialogue.' Yoon said, "I believe in the words of German Chancellor Bismarck, who said 'Politics is the art of the possible,'" adding, "Politics is about achieving what everyone thinks is impossible through dialogue, and that is the charm of politics."

Regarding his visit to Busan the previous day, he said, "Coincidentally, the news that Dr. Kim Jong-in accepted the position of general campaign committee chairman was delivered, and the atmosphere was very heated," adding, "It was a day to confirm the Busan citizens' desire for regime change."

Yoon said, "Starting from Busan, I will head north riding on the will of the people," and "At the campaign committee inauguration ceremony on December 6, I will show united strength together with General Campaign Committee Chairman Kim Jong-in, the two co-chairmen Kim Byung-joon and Lee Jun-seok, and our comrades."

He promised, "I will not be arrogant. I will approach the election campaign with a humbler attitude," and "We will unite and start again for regime change."
