Lotte Hotel Introduces Signature Wine 'Esprit de Saint-Emilion'

Lotte Hotel Introduces Signature Wine 'Esprit de Saint-Emilion' Lotte Hotel, 'Esprit de Saint-Emilion'.

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Hotel announced on the 5th that it will introduce 'Esprit de Saint-Emilion' as its signature wine. This red wine is a collaboration with the winemaker of Ch?teau Ang?lus, a world-renowned winery in France, and is sold exclusively at Lotte Hotel.

Ch?teau Ang?lus is one of the top wineries in the Saint-Emilion region of southern France, which was designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1999. It holds the highest Saint-Emilion wine classification, 'Premier Grand Cru Class? A,' and is also famous as the wine frequently enjoyed by James Bond in the movie 007.

The hotel stated, "Esprit de Saint-Emilion was specially dedicated to Lotte Hotel by Hubert de Bo?ard, the winemaker and co-owner of Ch?teau Ang?lus. Hubert de Bo?ard personally participated in the entire wine production process, from grape variety selection to tasting, making it even more meaningful."

The wine is blended with the representative Saint-Emilion grape varieties 'Merlot' and 'Cabernet Franc' in an 8:2 ratio. Saint-Emilion has a mild maritime climate, abundant sunlight, and clay soil, making it an ideal location for cultivating Merlot and Cabernet Franc. It features rich, tangy fruit aromas of blackberry and blackcurrant, with smoothly blended matured grapes. It pairs well with steak, lamb chops, and chicken.

The wine is simultaneously sold at five Lotte Hotels in Korea (Seoul, World, Jeju, Ulsan, Busan). To celebrate the wine launch until the 31st, a 20% discount promotion is available at restaurants, and a 10% discount at Delica Hans.
