Mokpo National Maritime University Naval Officer Training Department Hosts Civil-Academic-Government-Military Joint Seminar

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Mokpo National Maritime University (President Han Won-hee) held the "3rd Civil-Government-Academia-Military Joint Seminar" on the afternoon of the 3rd from 12:30 PM at the 6th-floor auditorium of the 2nd Engineering Building of Mokpo National Maritime University.

According to Mokpo National Maritime University on the 4th, this seminar, now in its third year, was held to bring together civil, government, military, and academic sectors to reexamine the footsteps of Admiral Yi Sun-sin and the activities of the Joseon Navy. The seminar was conducted in strict compliance with COVID-19 prevention guidelines and was themed "Reexamining the Activities of Yi Sun-sin and the Joseon Navy Before and After the Jeongyu War," featuring research presentations and discussions by domestic experts on Yi Sun-sin studies.

Professor Ko Kwang-seop of the Naval Officer Department at Mokpo National Maritime University, who served as the seminar preparation committee chairman, stated, "Based on this seminar, we will strive to systematically analyze research related to Yi Sun-sin and utilize it to explore ways to develop regional industries."
