Kim Seong-hee, Chair of the Administrative and Construction Committee of Mapo District Council, Receives Appreciation Plaque from Mapo Raemian Prugio Residents

Significant Contribution to Complex Development through Active Communication and Efforts to Resolve Civil Complaints

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Kim Seong-hee, Chairperson of the Mapo District Council (People Power Party, Ahyeon-dong·Dohwa-dong), received a plaque of appreciation from the residents of Mapo Raemian Prugio Apartments.

Chairperson Kim Seong-hee has actively addressed residents' difficulties by personally visiting the sites. In particular, she facilitated the opening of an entrance to ensure smooth dispatch of the Gongdeok Police Substation within the apartment complex, oversaw full road repainting for safer traffic, raised complaints about unequal elementary school class assignments, and held multiple meetings with the Office of Education to resolve overcrowded class issues. She also actively intervened to resolve conflicts with other areas.

Kang Mu-seung, President of the Mapo Raemian Prugio Residents' Representative Meeting, stated, "Chairperson Kim Seong-hee has devoted herself to the development of our apartment complex and especially worked hard to resolve residents' complaints. We gathered the gratitude of all residents to present this plaque because she greatly contributed to creating a better living environment."

Chairperson Kim Seong-hee expressed, "I only did what was naturally expected of me as a district council member to alleviate residents' inconveniences, so receiving a plaque of appreciation is very meaningful and makes me feel a heavier sense of responsibility. I will continue to communicate extensively with residents to improve the living environment and enhance residents' convenience without neglect."

Since being elected as a member of the 8th Mapo District Council, Kim Seong-hee has been actively engaged in legislative activities and, recognized for her capabilities, is currently serving as the Chairperson of the Administrative and Construction Committee in the latter half of the term. By working on the ground, listening to residents' voices, identifying issues from various perspectives, and seeking solutions through hands-on legislative activities, she is expected to contribute to community development and remain a model local council member.
