[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Deungnyang-myeon Hope Dream Council (Co-Chairmen Jo Seung-kwon, Choi Seong-bok) and Deungnyang-myeon Women's Volunteer Association (President Kim Bok-soon) in Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Cheol-woo) announced on the 3rd that they delivered kimchi made from about 500 heads of napa cabbage to 170 vulnerable households, including low-income elderly and disabled neighbors.
Despite the cold weather on the day, more than 20 Hope Dream Council members and volunteers participated, sincerely preparing kimchi to convey warm hearts to neighbors in need.
Meanwhile, Boseong River Hydroelectric Power Plant sponsored 3.5 million won for the kimchi-making expenses and also participated in the event on the day, dedicating themselves to making delicious kimchi.
Jo Seung-kwon, head of Deungnyang-myeon, said, “I thank the volunteers who contributed their sincerity despite their busy schedules, and I hope both volunteers and beneficiaries have a warm and happy winter.”
