[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] On the 3rd, Kim Ha-yong, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Provincial Council, held a meeting with executives of the Small Business Federation along with Jang Gyu-seok, the 1st Vice Chairman, and Lee Jong-ho, the 2nd Vice Chairman, in the council's conference room to listen to the difficulties faced by small business owners struggling due to COVID-19 and to seek solutions.
On this day, Chairman Kim Ha-yong said, "I understand that many small business owners are facing difficulties due to the resurgence of COVID-19," and urged, "Please ensure that Gyeongnam Province and the Credit Guarantee Foundation properly reflect requests such as loans for small business owners."
1st Vice Chairman Jang Gyu-seok said, "Among small business owners lacking financial resources, many companies can recover if they overcome the current situation," and added, "It is necessary for Gyeongnam Province to positively consider providing interest-free financial support."
Yang Dae-bok, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Small Business Federation, said, "Following the meetings in May and July, I appreciate the continuous interest of the Gyeongnam Provincial Council," and stated, "Currently, small business owners are in a desperate situation, so multifaceted support is needed."
