Astron Security Secures 6.3 Billion KRW Series A Investment

Domestic cloud security specialist, Astron Security Co., Ltd. (CEO Geunseok Jo), has successfully secured 6.3 billion KRW in Series A funding.

In this investment round, financial investors including KDB Industrial Bank, Hyundai Investment Partners, AJU IB Investment, and Lighthouse Combine, along with KB Investment and AhnLab who participated in previous rounds, recognized the company's growth potential.

Astron Security plans to use most of the funds raised to develop technologies such as AI-based anomaly detection, cloud platform expansion, and automated vulnerability monitoring to secure a definitive technological advantage.

Geunseok Jo, CEO of Astron Security, stated, “Astron Security will firmly establish itself as a cloud security specialist in the domestic market, where opportunities are opening up, based on technological competitiveness, and will expand globally to achieve solid results.”

Meanwhile, founded in 2019, Astron Security provides multi-cloud security solutions. It commercialized the first solution in Korea that combines API and agent methods to detect various anomalies and automatically visualize these processes.
