BJ Booked for Secretly Broadcasting at Gangnam Police Station After False Report


[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] An internet broadcast host (BJ) was apprehended by the police on charges of making a false report to the police and secretly entering a police station to broadcast.


According to the police on the 3rd, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul is investigating Mr. A on charges including trespassing.

Mr. A is accused of reporting at 3:04 a.m. that "a man is trying to stab me," and when the police who responded judged it to be a false report and withdrew from the scene, he secretly entered the men's locker room at Gangnam Station and broadcasted online.


It is reported that Mr. A was caught by the police following a report from a viewer who was watching the broadcast. A police official stated, "We are also considering applying charges for false reporting under the Minor Offenses Act."
