Over 30 Works Expressed in Writing and Drawing Displayed on the Community Harmony Tree

[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] On the 3rd, Jeonnam Muan-gun announced that students of Muan Middle School (Principal Jeong Han-seong) showcased their talents on the 1st to celebrate the establishment of ‘Muan-gun Illo-eup Residents' Day’.
At Muan Middle School, students are encouraged to actively participate and enjoy art in their daily lives through activities such as operating a hallway art gallery.
The students demonstrated their artistic skills they have developed so far by creating 23 works under the theme ‘Drawing Our Hometown Muan’ to celebrate the establishment of ‘Illo-eup Residents' Day’ on the 1st, and these works will be exhibited in the civil service office on the first floor of the eup office until the end of December.
Additionally, about 30 works expressing love for Illo-eup through writing and drawings were displayed on the Eup Residents' Harmony Tree, actively participating in celebrating the establishment of ‘Illo-eup Residents' Day’.
Students who participated in the Illo-eup Residents' Day event said, “Through this opportunity, I feel proud to be a resident of Illo-eup,” and “I will strive for the development of our hometown Illo-eup in the future.”
Jeong Han-seong, principal of Muan Middle School, said, “I am happy that students could participate together to celebrate the 41st anniversary of Illo-eup’s promotion and the establishment of Illo-eup Residents' Day,” and added, “We will continue to help our students grow as local talents with a sense of hometown pride.”
In response, Heo Jae-gyeong, mayor of Illo-eup, said, “Thank you for actively participating in the proclamation ceremony for the establishment of Illo-eup Residents' Day,” and “I hope this ceremony will be an opportunity for the residents of Illo-eup to unite.”
