"From Busan to Europe by Car" ... Dongmyeong University Collaborates on Eurasia Crossing Project

Dongmyung University and Busan Trans-Eurasia are signing an agreement to support the bid for the 2030 Busan Expo.

The agreement concerns cooperation on the wish to host the 2030 Busan Expo and the global practice of Do-ing.

Attendees at the agreement included Dongmyung University President Jeon Ho-hwan, Vice President for External Cooperation Lee Jun-ha, Dean of Do-ing College Seo Jong-su, and Busan Trans Eurasia Co-Organizing Chairman Yoo Jae-jin, Standing Chairman Na Ho-ju, and CEO and Executive Chairman Han Mi-young.

Busan Trans Eurasia has officially launched the "2030 Busan Expo Hosting Wish Eurasia Crossing Do-ing!"

Busan Trans Eurasia is preparing the "Eurasia Expedition Team." The program was organized to successfully host the 2030 Busan World Expo and promote Busan city branding.

The "Eurasia Expedition Team" is a project where participants cross the Eurasian continent using eco-friendly mobility. The event will start from Busan around June 2022.

Dongmyung University will cooperate as the main organizer for the 2022 and 2023 Eurasia Expedition Team and festival events, involving enrolled students.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the 2030 Busan World Expo Citizens' Hosting Committee, Busan Metropolitan City, Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mercedes-Benz Star Motors, and Hyundai Motor Company are expected to support the event.

President Jeon Ho-hwan said, "We will have students receive Do-ing education including overseas experiences through the Eurasia crossing and Kim Woo-joong Military Academy."

On the 18th, Dongmyung University signed an agreement with Daewoo World Management Research Association on a global youth entrepreneur training project. The agreement includes sending up to 20 students annually to the "Kim Woo-joong Military Academy."

In August, Dongmyung University also signed a campus mutual use agreement with Columbia University.
