[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jun-yi] Kwon Seong-dong, Secretary General of the People Power Party, said in an interview on the 3rd, "Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, will not go to Jeju Island today."

Secretary General Kwon stated, "(Lee Jun-seok, the leader of the People Power Party) said he is going to Ulsan today," explaining the situation.

When asked, "So he is not going to Jeju?" he replied, "If they meet, the issue should be resolved, but going without going through a process of coordinating opinions is inappropriate."

Leader Lee is currently staying in Jeju and conducting local activities. It was reported that candidate Yoon was considering going to Jeju to meet Lee in person.
