Hankook Tire's Heart Bear Sharing Tree Campaign to Support Underprivileged Children

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Hankook Tire & Technology announced on the 3rd that it will carry out the 'Heart Bear Sharing Tree' campaign activities in collaboration with the 'Heart-Heart Foundation' to support living expenses for children from low-income families.

The Heart Bear Sharing Tree social contribution campaign is an annual social contribution activity conducted by the Heart-Heart Foundation to help underprivileged children in local communities.

Hankook Tire stated that it joined the campaign to establish a culture of sharing warm affection during the Christmas season and to fulfill its corporate social responsibility.

A 4-meter tall sharing tree was installed at Hankook Tire's headquarters Technoplex in Pangyo, Gyeonggi Province, and an instant camera was provided to encourage employee participation by allowing them to take photos with the tree.

Additionally, employees who write congratulatory messages celebrating the company's 2021 Dow Jones Sustainability Index World (DJSI World) achievement on an online rolling paper will be entered into a draw to receive Heart Bear ornaments, the decorations of the sharing tree, with 120 winners selected.

Besides participating in the 'Heart Bear Sharing Tree social contribution campaign,' Hankook Tire is also conducting social contribution projects through sharing activities reflecting 'Mobility.'

This year, through the vehicle sharing project, a total of 80 vehicles were provided to social welfare institutions nationwide, and through the tire sharing project, tires were supplied to a total of 724 institutions.
